Requirements for NNPC TOTAL undergraduate scholarship

You are required to:

  • Be a bonafide FULL-TIME undergraduate in a recognized Nigerian University.
  • Be a 100 or 200 Level student at the time of your application.
  • Possess an O’Level certificate or its equivalent.
  • Have a JAMB score of at least 200.
  • Possess an A’Level certificate or its equivalent (for direct entry students only)
  • Show proof of your admission letter and matriculation number.
  • Have not less than 2.50 CGPA of 5-point scale, or 50% of 4 or 7 point scale obtained in your previous academic session.

300 Level students (and above) or students on Part-time/Sandwich programme are NOT eligible to apply for this NNPC TOTAL scholarship.

Current beneficiaries of similar award from any other company or Government Agency are also not eligible to apply.

All UNDERGRADUATE COURSES in any Nigerian Tertiary Institution qualifies you for NNPC TOTAL scholarship for undergraduates, irrespective of your Faculty or department.

Pre-Application process for NNPC TOTAL scholarship

1. You should have the following documents clearly scanned before starting your application process:

  • JAMB UTME result.
  • A’Level certificate (for direct entry students only)
  • JAMB or University Admission Letter
  • First Year result showing your CGPA.

Each document size should not be more than 200KB and the image format for your passport must be in JPEG, other files must be in PDF.

  • Click on “REGISTER” to create an account. 
  • Check your email inbox for a link to activate your account.
  • Visit the scholarship site again.
  • Enter your registered email and password to create your profile. 
  • Enter your name, date of birth and permanent home address.
  • Upload your recent passport photograph.
  • Enter your email and phone information.
    • Ensure to use an active email and phone number.
  • Enter your state and local government of origin data.
    • You will be required to upload a certificate of origin from your local government or state.
  • Select your university, course and year of study.
    • You will be required to upload your JAMB or University admission letter.
  • Input your JAMB score or CPGA.
    • You will be required to upload your JAMB result and University CPGA.
    • For year two medical students, your JAMB score suffices.
  • Review your application ensure all fields have been correctly entered.
  • Accept terms and condition.
  • On screen alert will confirm that you have successfully completed the application.
